PACK EXPO International brings together thousands of vendors and exhibitors passionate about end-of-line operations. At Vention, the show is also about bringing product updates, upgraded services, and a new wave of optimization to factory floors.
Here’s what you can expect from Vention at this year’s Pack Expo, including Rapid Series Palletizer 3.0 and changes to the post-deployment automation experience.
Post-Deployment, Palletizer, and AI: Where Vention is Shipping the Biggest Updates
Artificial intelligence is a key trend in any industrial trade show. And while it is an area of focus at Vention, support, robotics, software, and hardware are also a priority. Our high-level Pack Expo product and service updates can be categorized into three layers.
-
Post-deployment services: Vention is launching updates to products like MachineAnalytics, RemoteView, and Remote Support, including 24/7 troubleshooting access.
-
The palletizer: Hardware and MachineApp updates are ready to launch, making automated palletizing more effective than ever.
-
AI-driven software updates: Vention’s MachineAgent was recently launched at IMTS and brings accessibility to each stage of the automation project lifecycle. Non-technical users can now spearhead processes like monitoring and troubleshooting.
What’s New in Post-Deployment
Deployment is an important part of the automation process, but everything that happens after the fact impacts repeatability, productivity, and future expansion. Vention is bringing significant upgrades to post-deployment to help teams stay efficient after go-live.
-
New 24/7 video-based remote support: Users with MachineMotionAI and a subscription can now access live video with a Vention expert at any hour of the day, 7 days a week. The team provides engineers for daytime service, with operators standing by for nightly troubleshooting and support.
-
MachineAnalytics App: For operators on the floor, there’s no need to return to a desk to surface analytics. The MachineAnalytics App is now available on the pendant at the cell for uninterrupted monitoring.
-
New MachineAnalytics templates: Vention now offers MachineAnalytics templates for automated palletizers that come pre-built with performance, downtime, boxes-per-minute, and error metrics available on the cloud.
-
MachineAgent custom templates are coming: MachineAgent, the Agentic AI tool for designing, programming, and monitoring the cell, will soon support custom templates. Users will be able to build their own templates with custom metrics for more granular control in cell monitoring and palletizing in 2027.
Updates For More Adaptable Palletizing Automation
Configuring your automation project to the needs of your business effectively boosts uptime and efficiency. Here’s how Vention products and platforms can be fine-tuned to support your production line.
-
New buzzer and tower light apps: Users can map machine states to different light colors, patterns, and alarms across palletizer and conveyor. This increases status visibility across teams and can be configured or updated in roughly two minutes.
-
New pendant home page with concurrent apps: Users can run several apps in parallel, including conveyor, palletizer, MachineAnalytics, and the new buzzer and tower light right on the pendant. Switching between apps is seamless and requires no code changes.
-
Palletizer MachineApp code injection: Programmers and engineers can edit palletizer code themselves for greater customization or quick pivoting when business needs change.
